Privacy Policy and Data Protection Agreement
At Waqt-Pe (including our parent company Sura Construction Services, our ecosystem partner Sq-Feet Software, and any affiliated subsidiaries; henceforth collectively referred to as ‘Waqt-Pe’, ‘we’, ‘our’, or the ‘Company’), we understand that you are trusting us with confidential workforce information. We believe you have a right to know our exact practices regarding the information we collect, process, and secure when you use our services or interact with us.
Waqt-Pe is a cloud-based SaaS platform designed to enable organizations to seamlessly manage Time, Site Attendance, and field labor metrics. The Waqt-Pe Mobile Apps (including User and Kiosk deployment packages) and the accompanying Admin Web Dashboard are core components of this ecosystem.
Definitional Scope:
-
Customer (Employer): Any entity, corporate body, or contractor that has executed a services agreement directly with Waqt-Pe or through authorized Sq-Feet Software distribution channels to utilize the platform.
-
End User (Data Principal): A Customer’s workforce, including permanent employees, engineers, site supervisors, third-party agency contractors, masons, carpenters, and general site laborers who interface with the platform.
-
Account Owner (Administrator): The designated administrator appointed by the Customer company. The Account Owner retains full administrative rights over their company's workspace ledger, manages user data-access profiles, and bears final responsibility for all workforce rosters, demographic rows, and workforce photos uploaded to the platform.
This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, access, and disclosure of your Personal Information across waqtpe.co.in (the “Site”), the Waqt-Pe User App, the Waqt-Pe Kiosk App, and the central Sq-Feet Software data sync pipeline.
Information We Collect & Operational Processing
1. General Personal Information
We collect personal information provided consciously and voluntarily by the Customer (Employer) or through active deployment of the Waqt-Pe platform.
This processing data matrix includes: First and last name, employee ID, phone number(s), date of joining, assigned contractor agency, specialized craft type (e.g., Supervisor, Mason, Fitter, Carpenter, General Labor), department, gender, nationality, emergency contacts, site zone assignments, and relevant statutory parameters required for industrial labor compliance under Indian law.
Strict Child Data Guardrail: In complete alignment with national statutory standards, Waqt-Pe does not knowingly collect or process personal data from children under 18 years of age. Our master roster enrollment module blocks onboarding parameters for any individual below this age threshold.
2. Location Tracking & Live Geofencing
-
Waqt-Pe User App (Personal Devices): For individual field staff, engineers, and supervisors using personal devices, the app tracks geolocation exclusively during check-in/check-out execution to validate on-site physical presence.
-
Waqt-Pe Kiosk App (Shared Site Gate Terminals): For shared mobile or tablet kiosk terminals mounted at site entry points, fixed geofencing boundaries are verified to ensure terminal hardware remains locked to its specific construction grid or warehouse location.
-
Live Location Tracking: If advanced real-time tracking is activated, it is deployed strictly under the instructions of the Customer (Employer) in accordance with their internal organizational workflows.
3. Biometric & Face Attendance Metadata
To eliminate "ghost attendance" and buddy-punching at construction gates, Waqt-Pe utilizes specialized facial recognition matching:
-
Purpose: Facial vectors are collected exclusively to process high-speed (under 2 seconds) verification at entry/exit queues.
-
Retention: Facial metadata profiles remain securely active only while the End User is maintained on the active roster.
-
Deletion & Isolation: The Account Owner can permanently purge an individual's biometric profile at any time. Biometric mathematical vectors are never sold, rented, or distributed to third-party marketing entities.
4. Device Permissions
When utilizing the mobile app packages, the system requests explicit device permissions:
-
Camera Access: Required to capture facial recognition data for gate kiosk tracking and user self-verification.
-
Storage Access: Used strictly when an administrator explicitly uploads a master batch of worker photos for initial roster setup.
Data Architecture & Indian Context Compliance (DPDPA)
This policy is designed to align with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023 (India), and global data security standards.
-
Data Processor: Waqt-Pe operates strictly as a Data Processor acting under the direct operating instructions of our corporate clients.
-
Data Fiduciary: Our Customers (the employers/contracting firms) act as the Data Fiduciaries. The responsibility for acquiring valid worker consent and outlining internal time-tracking governance remains with the Customer.
Data Security & Sovereign Indian Hosting
We have established enterprise-grade physical and electronic defensive measures to insulate workforce records from accidental loss or unauthorized compromise:
-
Sovereign Data Residency: To ensure compliance with Indian data sovereignty rules, all transactional data and biometric metadata models are hosted securely in localized AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Google Cloud data centers located physically within India.
-
Access Barriers: Production database access is locked behind a strict multi-factor authentication protocol and restricted only to personnel explicitly verified to handle system performance updates.
-
Transit Security: All network payload transfers traveling between on-site Gate Kiosks and our central servers are wrapped in an SSL/TLS-encrypted tunnel.
Data Retention & Erasure Workflows
-
Operational Logs: Waqt-Pe retains transaction data only for the duration required to fulfill operational service terms with our active Customers or to meet local legal, safety, and tax accounting audits.
-
Account Termination Purge: Upon formal termination or closure of a client’s Sq-Feet Software / Waqt-Pe account subscription, a 30-day grace period is initiated. Following this window, the platform begins the permanent, un-reconstructible deletion of all customer databases, master worker rosters, and biometric models from active disks.
-
System Integrity: Standard immutable system logs (SystemAuditLog) track non-identifiable performance metadata to guarantee continuous platform uptime.
Contact, Rights, & Grievances
Because Waqt-Pe acts as a Data Processor, End Users seeking to modify, view, or delete their on-site records should communicate directly with their employer’s corporate Account Administrator.
